Debrief the work from the day before and focus on secondary or vicarious trauma experienced by a care provider when supporting those with CSA.

Afternoon Session (1:00pm-4:00pm): BONUS Advanced Training! Labour Tools: TENS

During this course you will practice and play with several brands of machines marketed for use as a birth tool as well as a typical Physio TENS machine.
This course is approved for 2.5 CEU's from DONA International and meets the requirements for providing a TENS machine to your clients as a doula and stay within your scope.

Everything you need to feel confident supporting your birth or postpartum doula clients.

We explore everything from anatomy, to lactogenesis, to emotional challenges and of course focus on the doulas scope. An updated version of the course that has been helping doulas flourish for the last 6 years!

This course meets the requirements for Birth Doula Certification and Postpartum Doula Certification with DONA International.

A workshop developed especially for doulas! After all, we're amazing in the birth room, but not always the best when it comes to the business side. It's hard to know what we don't know!

We will explore different ways to set up your business, options for bookkeeping, what is important in record keeping, new tools to make business easier, GST and how to charge/remit, etc, and most of all, we will have lots of time for your questions.
